Logo&Stitch began in 2005 with the idea of offering top-class design and embroidery to the people who need it but can’t always afford it: small business owners. We understand small businesses, because we fit into that category as well. We know the importance of marketing products to your customer. A consistent and professional use of your company’s logo and slogan will increase brand awareness, and therefore increase sales. With no setup fee for digitizing logos and a small $60 opening order, the small business owner has every reason to invest in professional apparel for their employees.
The name Logo&Stitch was inspired a little by Lilo and Stitch – we do have children, remember? The hibiscus flowers in our logo represent a place we’d probably rather be most times: scuba diving in the tropics! We’ve been diving since we were 12 and 14 years old, and we love it.
We are so thankful to our customers that continue to buy from us year after year and thankful for new customers that come to us daily. Amy is a graphic designer with an art and biology degree from Carson-Newman college, with an emphasis in biological illustration. She worked for a design firm for a couple years before freelancing and caring for her kids at home. With over 15 years as a designer, she enjoys helping people create the look that defines them best. She also believes that “anything is possible” – much to Jenny’s chagrin at times! If no one else can embroider it, we’ll try!
Jenny Ortner has a biology and education degree from Carson-Newman College and is a former science teacher. After leaving teaching to stay home with her children, she helped start Logo&Stitch to put all her creative energy to work. She has since returned to teaching, but she still keeps the gears turning at Logo&Stitch as well.
We are partners in business and sisters in life! We each have three children (and very supportive husbands!). Together we love helping create personalized gifts for babies, kids, and adults. Monogrammed items make great gifts, and we have enjoyed helping our customers with our diverse and creative embroidered items. Although we no longer sell gift items, we are happy to embroider for you to create something special!
